True Health Review - 6 Things You Need to Know

I paused before I hit the “publish” button on this one, because my conclusion was a bit of a shocker. We decided to pay a bit more attention to True Health side effects, ingredients, quality of customer service and scientific research. Additionally, we analyzed hundreds of reviews and comments. Then, we summarized and refined to give you the info you need.

What is True Health?

First off, True Health ingredients include cape aloe leaf concentrate, Chinese rhubarb, licorice, digestive enzymes, ginger extract, peppermint leaf, bacillus coagulans, gymnema sylvestre leaf and cinnamon bark, among others. The company promotes weight-loss by improving overall health and wellness. The recommended serving is two capsules per day. One benefit is that you can use the supplements on the go.

The brand was introduced in 1979 and does contain some natural ingredients. It appears as if you can only purchase the supplements on the official website. We like that the company has been in business for quite some time and that we located a few positive customer comments, but read on…

True Health Side Effects – “Causing Issues?”

The first negative about True Health side effects was the severity. “The ingredient list gives us a look into what dieters can expect,” said our Research Editor. “There is a natural laxative that can affect the stomach and bowels and that has nothing to do with weight-loss.”

“Gave me diarrhea. Returned for refund,” commented a user.

“The basic problems I was experiencing: occasional bloating, occasional upset stomach, burning bum, etc.,” said a customer.

Ineffective –”No Weight-Loss Support”

Dieters commenting on the web noticed the True Health ingredients were ineffective. “My husband and I loved the old formula. It just doesn’t work as well at all,” reported a customer.

“Recently received the new and improved version and it is not the same, and really doesn’t seem to work at all,” commented a user.

“It has made no difference to my joints after 1 month of taking the formula regularly,” said a consumer.

Our research shows a link between no results and limited long-term success. There’s an issue if True Health doesn’t work.

The Science – “Research-Based?”

Based on the information available on the True Health website, a team of doctors developed the supplement line. What’s missing is published clinical research linking the formulas to weight-loss. At DietSpotlight, locating scientific proof is imperative. If there’s no science, is it really worth your time?

What Users Are Saying

"”First time in my life that I have a daily bowel movement. Even after changing to a vegan diet I still struggle with constipation, I am sold on this product and will recommend this to anyone who has issues with irregularity.”"

"”So far so good. I only started taking it a week ago and it seems to work. I hope to be able to report to you a 100 % success as I continue to use this product.”"

"”This is a ok product. have not used it long enough to give a great review but seems to work well.”"

The Bottom Line – Does True Health Work?

So, True Health supplements for weight-loss? Well, we like the longevity of the company and that we found some positive customer comments. But, we’re hesitant about this one because there’s no direct connection between the supplements and weight-loss. Also, there’s a concern about customer reports of limited results and negative side effects.

If you’d like to drop those extra pounds, we suggest going with a supplement shown to be effective in published scientific research with no reported adverse reactions.

Among the best products we’ve seen this year is one called Dietspotlight Burn. The supplement promotes weight-loss by featuring four clinically-tested ingredients that have been shown to help accelerate metabolism and boost fat loss. There’s no talk about harmful side effects, but dieters are chattering about their excellent results.

Also, the company behind Dietspotlight Burn is so confident in the supplement, they’re providing a special trial offer>.

True Health

What are the side effects of True Health?

True Health side effects depend on the supplement you’re taking. Users have reported diarrhea, bloating and stomach upset.

What are the ingredients in True Health?

You will find a different list of True Health ingredients for each product. The weight-loss supplements may contain chromium, caffeine, guarana, garcinia and sweet orange.

How do I know if True Health is right for me?

Choosing the right product is the #1 question asked by DietSpotlight readers. We recommend trying any product before buying it and know that finding a product with a sample offer is near impossible - so we created our own product, Burn HD, with scientifically backed ingredients.

Does True Health work?

When we tried to find clinical research for True Health products, we found nothing. Some do contain caffeine, which can boost energy and support metabolism, but there’s nothing different in that stimulant and the one you get in your morning coffee. Garcinia is considered a “fad” ingredient by many.

If you’re considering changing out a True Health product for one with clinical support, you may want to look at Dietspotlight Burn.

How much does True Health cost?

Each True Health supplement is priced differently, but the only weight-loss product is $59.95. Each bottle contains 120 capsules and you take 4 a day, so that’s a one-month supply.

How should I take True Health?

As we’ve stated, there are multiple products. Ultimate SlimDown, the weight-loss product, is taken as two capsules twice daily about 30 minutes before meals.

How long will it take for True Health to work?

If you are taking Ultimate SlimDown, True Health claims it can take up to 8 weeks before seeing optimal results.

Are True Health capsules vegetarian or vegan friendly?

No, according to the description for Ultimate SlimDown, the capsules are made of bovine gelatin.

Does True Health come with a guarantee?

Yes, you can return the unused product for a full refund at any time. There is no time limit.

What You Should Know

True Health is a line of health supplements by medical doctor Dr. Cutter. To name a few of the products, you can find on their website CoQ10 Omega Power, Liver & Kidney Cleanse, Omega-3 Max and Ultimate Digestion Formula. While there are products geared toward weight loss and overall health, there is a complete line of supplements geared at a variety of health conditions. This review will take a closer look at products designed to help you lose weight, to help you decide if any of these products will be able to help you reach your health and wellness goals for once and for all.

List of Ingredients

True Health has multiple products, so if you are interested in learning more about ingredients, we advise you to take a closer look at the product label for the product or products you are most interested in.

Product Features

True Health has several different products in the following categories: Blood Sugar, Bone Health, Brain Health, Detoxification, Digestive Health, Health & Wellness, Heart Health, Immune Support, Joint Health, Men's Health, pH Balance andVision Health. The Detoxification products include: Liver & Kidney Cleanse™ and Ultimate Colon Care Formula™. The Digestive Health products include: Ultimate Colon Care Formula™, Ultimate Digestion Formula™, Ultimate Gallbladder Support™, Ultimate Lectin Defense™, and Ultimate Probiotic Solution™. Other products that may support weight loss include those from the Blood Sugar category such as: R Lipoic Acid™, Ultimate Blood Sugar Formula™, Ultimate Krill-Q™ and the Thyroid health supplement Ultimate Thyroid Support™. You should speak to a doctor before starting any supplementation regimen.

  • True Health has a variety of products to help nearly any health condition.
  • This can help weight loss in several different ways.
  • The products are backed by a 100% guarantee.

  • True Health does not have any fat burners or appetite suppressants.
  • There are no free trials.
  • There are no customer reviews for these products.
  • Diet and exercise is not promoted to accentuate any of these products.

True Health seems like they have some decent products, as we can see the supplement facts for all the products. We like the money back guarantee and the fact that the more you buy, the more you get free. This is good for people who have used the products before and know they like them. However, we do not like that there are not any specific weight loss products. The detox and digestive products can help, but without fat burners and appetite suppressants, you are not really going to see real weight loss results. If you do not properly follow a balanced, reduced calorie diet, along with a regular exercise program you are not likely to see any results at all because no supplement will be able to do all the work for you. We recommend combining one or more of these supplements with a fat burner or appetite suppressant, diet and exercise.

  •  True Health ultimate colon care
    Gail west (Verified User)

True Health ultimate colon care. This product works for me. I had problems for many years, going poop. I used to take laxatives on the weekend to clean me out.. I would take 3 at a time. Then it got to where the 3 at a time were not working so I upped it to 4.. That would only produce liquid.. My grandfather was constipated and bought the product and told me about it. I asked him if I could try some of his to make sure that they worked, because I did not want to buy any, and waste money if they wouldn’t work for me. Well, thank God, they worked. I bought my own supply. You are supposed to take two a day.. one in the morning and one at night. I started that way for two to three days, taking two, then I changed to taking it once a day. If I take it once a day.. I will poop once a day. I used to go days or longer without being able to poop. This product does work.

  • John Piseski

I am confused as to the daily dosage of colon care. Is it 2 per day or 2 twice a day?? Should I get diarrhea from 4 per day??? please send me reply via e-mail. Thanks john

    • Anna (Editor)

Hi! For detailed product and usage instructions, please refer to the True Health official website for more information.

    • Gail west

Don’t take 4.. that’s way too much.. take one before breakfast and one before dinner. Try that for awhile. If it works keep it up.. If you go too much. The I suggest you take one a day.. It just depends on your system.

  • denise

well iused it for 2 days and started getting joint pain

  • Bobbie

Is there anything in these supplements that might be harmful to a patient with a diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure? Patient has a pacemaker and is on numerous medications associated with CHF.

    • Everly

Hi Bobbie! Please make sure to consult with your physician before starting a new weight-loss program or product as it could have potential side effects.

  • Char Fesler

I want to talk with someone who can advise me as to whether to continue taking the Ultimate Colon Care Formula. The warning on the label about diarrhea and “ruining your health” are scary. The product is the best rescue I ever had, but I need to discuss long-term effects. Of course the 800 number is only for sales, and that associate says there’s no one like this to speak with. I hope you prove her wrong!

    • Veronica

Hi Char. Try calling their customer service, and ask to speak with a representative. Hope this helps.

    • Maribel (Editor)

Hello Char. All users are different and can experience different side effects; please make sure to consult with your physician before taking this product.

  • janet

I was considering ordering the blue and orange pills that you take twice a day for 90 days or so it would costs over 140 dollars when u join to buy they charge you 35 to join the club (like BJ’s or a cosco ) Im worried about jitters or heart conditions like drinking too much caffeine . this is the diet plan not the colon cleanse .thanks

  • Cecilia Bustos

In the past I have bought products from Dr. Cutler. The products were always good and the customer service was excellent. Now I am looking to buy the Ultimate Colon Care but in reading some of the reviews I am not sure if the company is still been run by the same nice people

  • Tom Collins

I received this product and started taking two capsules daily, after three days I had a terrific bowel movement, but then I started losing my equilibrium, so I quit using the product for about a week and thinking maybe I started off too stong of a dose so now I am going to only try one capsule per day and maybe my body will get used to it, if not I will have to quit using the product, I guess I’ll just have to see from here. I hope one capsule per day works because I sure was excited when I had that great one bowel movement, but I can’t live with my equilibrium not working, because I can’t even walk with out holding on to the wall or something stationary, anyway that’s my results, I hope they get better.

  • Noreen V. Sebastian

I returned my product and want to know when I will be reimbursed for the product. Thank you. Noreen Sebastian

    • paula

Hi Noreen! For detailed product and return information, please refer to the True Health official website.

  • Doug L.

I purchased several bottles of Ultimate Colon health pills. Got nothing but gut aches so discontinued after a week. Sent back the unused portions under the “Lifetime Guarantee” It is late September 2016, my order was returned and received in late July. What I didn’t understand about the “Lifetime Guarantee” is that it takes a lifetime to receive your refund. I’m still waiting after two calls about the refund.

  • They gave me a customer Service number
    Bruce Broussard

I placed an order on July 7, 2014 and still waiting for delivery.
I am getting all sorts of excuses. Promises of call back several times but no calls. They gave me a customer Service number to call and it turns out to be for Health Resources. They have been dishonest in every turn during this time. I cannot seem to get a phone number for their corporate office. Sounds strange to me.
Have you folks had any exoeriences from other people like this?

  •  Loved the product.
    Randolph Price (Verified User)

Prior to taking Dr. Cutler’s Ultimate Colon Care Formula, I was having difficulty having full bowel movements and with a lot of smelly gas conditions. I have been taking the Ultimate Colon Care Formular for over 60 days and I am now having full daily bowel movements; sometimes, twice per day. What an extraordinary relief! No more smelly gastic conditions! I have taken other formulars previously; but, this one seems to work better. I have ordered me another 90 day supply. I highly recommend the Ultimate Colon Care Formular!
