Ultra Cleanse Plus Review - 6 Things You Need to Know
If you give me just two minutes of your time today, I can tell you whether or not to give Ultra Cleanse Plus a try. We checked out all of the ingredients, potential side effects, research and customer service quality. We also dove into the hundreds of reviews we’ve found online. Finally, we condensed it all so you have the bottom line.
What is Ultra Cleanse Plus?
To begin, Ultra Cleanse Plus is a powder mix that you blend into a beverage each day. When taken, it supposedly helps “cleanse” your digestive system, which is meant to improve gut health, bloating, and essentially set the stage for effective weight-loss. Some ingredients in the formula include rice protein, l-glutamine, glycine, taurine, fiber and flax seeds. One positive is that it seems fairly easy to take–one serving per day, made by missing two scoops into a beverage for a serving.
While there seems to be disagreement around the web about who actually makes Ultra Cleanse Plus, we could only find it officially listed on davidallennutrition.com. It is available on his website. We like the professional nature of his website and the ease of use, but read on…
High Price – “A First Concern?”
Our first concern when researching Ultra Cleanse Plus ingredients was the high cost. “We’ve researched many cleanses in the past, and this is one of the more expensive ones,” said our Research Editor. “The question is, is it worth the money?”
The list of ingredients doesn’t immediately give signs of being worth that much money. Proteins, flax, and fibers play a heavy role in the cleanse; each can be found elsewhere for much, much less. Unless Ultra Cleanse Plus comes out with some research that shows it works better than all of the other cleanses out there, the cost just seems too high.
Beyond that, we can’t find customer reviews of the product. Investing that much money in a supplement that you can’t reviews for is pretty risky, but that leads us to our next concern.
Reviews – “Not Here!”
We find it hard to believe that a self-proclaimed “celebrity nutritionist” would have so few reviews to show for his products and/or service. His online social media presence has hardly any interaction, and the Ultra Cleanse Plus has zero reviews on his website. Beyond that, we couldn’t find reviews anywhere else online.
We’ve found over the years that you can find something small wrong with a product, like no reviews online, and that’s all it takes to derail your chances of long-term success. If Ultra Cleanse Plus is not popular enough to earn one comment, will it really work as claimed?
The Science – “Evidence?”
It’s safe to say that no clinical studies have been run on Ultra Cleanse Plus. When a product doesn’t have reviews and seems enigmatic online, the science is rarely there to support it. Some of the ingredients will obviously help move your bowels (fiber, flax, etc.), but this is hardly revolutionary. There are plenty of other more scientifically-based ways to promote gut health out there on the market.
What Users Are Saying
"”This is a Great Nutritional Product! I only have a small complaint, there is an after taste from the sweetener. I added a frozen bananna and extra water. It tastes pretty good now!”"
"”Ultra Pure colon cleanse Their “no obligation” free trial is a SCAM! They will charge your credit card almost immediately, and will not give your money back. does not appear Does not appear Internet”"
The Bottom Line – Does Ultra Cleanse Plus Work?
When all is said and done, Ultra Cleanse Plus looks like any other cleanse system. The two main differences are the high cost and the total lack of reviews online. This leaves us with a ton of reservations because we know nothing about it other than the ingredient list.
If you’d like to get a head start on weight-loss, we recommend cleansing your system through a healthy diet and lots of water. You can also add a potent fat burner that has been backed by clinical research.
Among the best products we’ve seen this year is one called Dietspotlight Burn. It combines four ingredients (each has been clinically tested) that help increase fat burn and boost metabolism. We can’t find any harmful side effects mentioned online, and the reviews look great!
There’s even a Special Trial Offer right now, which is always a good sign.Learn More About Burn HD »
