Zen Bodi is a range of weight loss products that promise to help you lose excess weight and build muscle simultaneously. It claims that the formula will curb your appetite and, in that way, help you achieve your goals. Unfortunately, they provide no clinical research to support their claims, and the ingredients leave a bit to be desired. Even the fad star raspberry ketones are in there.
That raised some red flags in our research team’s office, so they decided to find out as much as possible by analyzing reviews and looking into medical journals and clinical studies. Here is everything that they discovered.
Zen Bodi can be purchased through their Official Site.
What is Zen Bodi?
First off, Zen Bodi ingredients include amino acids, raspberry ketones, African mango, green tea, inositol, choline bitartrate, omega fatty acids, and probiotics. Supposedly the supplement helps reduce appetite and ignites fat loss. One benefit is the ease of use.
It’s unclear when Jeunesse, the company behind Zen Bodi, first introduced the supplements, but it appears as if it was sometime in 2015. You can only shop for supplements through the official website. We like that we found some favorable customer comments and the inclusion of a few natural ingredients, but read what some of the studies say:
- PLOS One: Although fatty acids can be beneficial to health, they have not been shown to aid in weight loss.
- Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects: Research into African mango shows it does not work as a weight loss aid.
- Life Sciences: In animal studies, raspberry ketones were able to stop weight gain caused by high-fat diets, but more research is needed to understand its effects on human health.
Zen Bodi Competitors
The first concern was the high cost of Zen Bodi. “You’re not just purchasing one supplement with Zen Bodi, you’re buying three,” said our Research Editor. “In total, the price easily exceeds $100, which could be a deal-breaker.”
“The retail price posted on the official website is $54.95 (Shape capsules), $51.95 (Fit drink), and $69.95 (Pro shake). That is a lot for some people,” reported a customer.
“Expensive. This product does not work. Waste of money” said a customer.
Not every consumer was concerned with the high price. “I was also looking for a solution on how to lose weight and found Zen Bodi didn’t cost that much,” reported another.

According to customer comments, Zen Bodi ingredients didn’t help with weight-loss. One person stated, “This product didn’t do anything for me.”
“Not sure they work very well. I can’t tell much difference,” stated another.
“I logged what I ate, and I was never more than 1,500 calories per day. After 3 months, I had lost 0.8 kg,” reported a user.
While some customers didn’t notice a result, others had a different take on the ingredients. “I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks now, and I can tell the difference,” mentioned another user.
We’ve done the research and have found that any part of a weight-loss system considered problematic, like ineffective ingredients, could reduce the chances of long-term success. If Zen Bodi doesn’t produce results, this could be concerning.
First off, “science” is addressed on the company website; however, there are no clinical studies presented for Zen Bodi supplements. Some ingredients, such as green tea and amino acids, may help with weight management and body composition, but the science doesn’t relate to these products. At DietSpotlight, we look for research before making suggestions. If there’s none, we walk away.
Since 2016, the company behind Zen Bodi has been sued four times. The lawsuits tend to center around the pyramid scheme with which Jeunesse operates. A federal RICO lawsuit was settled out of court for $2.5 million.
What Users Are Saying
“Highest quality – The best on the market.”
“I bought this thinking there was 5g of fiber per serving. If you look at the facts panel there is actually 0 fiber in the product. There is also a no soy symbol on the packaging, but if you look closer they are just saying they don’t use soy protein. There is still soy in the product. False advertising on both accounts! That’s not cool.”
“Shipped timely. I’m always leary of bypassing a wellness company’s direct website and purchasing off Amazon, as you never know if the product was stored properly, if it’s still fresh, or if you’re going to get an expired product. The item arrived in good condition. Well within it’s expiration date. I do find I burped a lot first time I took it. Not sure if I needed more water intake or if this is just an effect of the product on me. I’ll know for sure with continued use. Appetite suppression definitely noticeable on first use.”
The Bottom Line – Does Zen Bodi Work?
Now the moment you’ve been waiting for: our final thoughts on Zen Bodi supplements. We like that the product included a few natural ingredients and that we located some favorable customer comments, but the lack of clinical research leaves us skeptical about this one. We’re also concerned about customer complaints about ineffective ingredients and the high price.
