This cellulite cream is part of a product line endorsed by Lorna Vanderhaeghe, a medical journalist who focuses on nutritional medicine. Alpha-Cell is manufactured by Preferred Nutrition, a company that is endorsed by medical doctors and nutritionists. This cream is intended to reduce and prevent cellulite, which results from the accumulation of fat, water, and toxins below the skin. This is mostly an issue for women who experience hormonal irregularities, pregnancy, a lack of exercise, or a high fat diet. Cellulite is commonly found in the hips, knees, stomach, buttocks, knees, thighs, or upper arms. Two types of cellulite are hydric or lipidic. Hydric consists mainly of water and is spread out. Lipidic is not as spread out and consists mostly of fat. Cellulite is hard to remove because the fatty deposits do not respond well to thermogenesis.

Ingredients

Water, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Alpha-Cell (proprietary blend of plant extracts: Oregon Grape, Yellow Snow Rose, Staves Acre, Algae, Ivy, Marigold), Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (less than 1%), Stearyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Citrate.

Product Features

Alpha-Cells formula works by inhibiting alpha-receptors on fat cells that sit inside cellulite tissue. Once the alpha-receptors and inhibited fat is allowed to leave the cellulite and enter the bloodstream. Once this happens, the fat cells can be burned. Through this action, the skin loses its dimpling and wrinkling. Preferred Nutrition claims that natural substances from plants were discovered as cellulite reversers when absorbed through the skin. There are claims that these discoveries have been clinically tested. A Romanian medical doctor named Dr. Delia Simu developed Alpha-Cell’s formula based on data collected from 2,500 women over 4 years. The resulting formula is highly regarded for being Paraben free. Parabens are chemicals often found in shampoos and other cosmetics because of their preserving capabilities. Recent studies challenge their safety, claiming that they can cause skin irritation and can contribute to breast tumors.

Advantages

  • Website features dieting and wellness advice.
  • Effective for both Hydric and Lipidic cellulite.
  • Natural ingredients.
  • Paraben free.

Disadvantages

  • No money back guarantee.
  • $40 for only 100 ml.

Conclusion

Alpha-Cell Cream can be beneficial for improving ones appearance through cellulite removal. Increasing the skin’s appearance is a big part of the weight loss process, especially for women. However, the formula’s ingredients do not show up as being clinically research to a large extent. Also, Preferred Nutrition’s website does not have any customer testimonials in their open forum for reviewing. This suggests the product might not be as effective as promised. Before investing in this product, consult your physician.

Are you still using the Alpha-Cell Cream or did you give up on it.

I would like to try it, but first I want to know if it really works. Or is it like other products on the market that say it will do certain things but in actually fact is doesn’t do a thing for you.

Have been using Alpha-Cell cream for a few weeks and have noticed an improvement in skin texture and a small reduction in dimpling. It shows promise to the point that I have ordered a second jar (currently about 1/3 through the first one) to continue long-term treatment. Downside is as noted, the price and lack of feedback from other users. But if it continues to be as promising as the initial results then it is worth it. Time will tell.
