Push Fitness is located in the Jamaica Estates area of Queens, New York. The gym occupies an 11,000 square foot space complete with sauna, juice bar, free-weights and spinning room. The official website for Push Fitness offers actual pictures of the facility and information on gym memberships. The lowest cost of a gym membership at Push Fitness is $40 a month plus enrollment fees. Based upon the membership descriptions, we assume this fee is for the 12-month membership with increased costs for the 6-month and 3-month membership options. There is no mention of how much the enrollment fee is to join Push Fitness.

State of the art fitness gym.

Product Features

Push Fitness is just another huge scale gym that charges members a large monthly fee to join. Many dieters have trouble with gyms of this size because they fell embarrassed or overpowered by the fit gym members who are regularly using gym equipment. Unlike other major fitness gym chains, there is no women’s only area or area dedicated to those just beginning gym workouts.

The official website is laden with misspelled words and errors in grammar. The picture section of the website shows only pre-opening pictures clearly taken before the gym was open for use. The hours of operation are also a bit concerning. During the week, the gym is open until midnight, but on the weekend when most gym members will be off work, the gym closes at 9 PM on Saturday and 8 PM on Sunday. Most gyms are open later on the weekends and close earlier during the week.

Push Fitness is not a chain gym so the contract is created for this individual gym only. Anyone thinking about joining should read through the agreement carefully before signing. The single location also limits the number of dieters that can utilize the Push Fitness facility to those in the Queens area of New York.

  • Class schedule for various aerobic activities and weight training.
  • Conveniently located on three bus routes.

  • The monthly cost is high than many other gym chains.
  • There is only one location near Queens, New York.
  • Limited hours of operation.
  • Official website lacks professional qualities.
  • Personal trainers do not have bios on the official website.
  • There is no mention of the cost of enrollment.

Push Fitness is just another huge gym located in the city. Due to the lack of locations, only a few dieters will have access to the gym and with restricted hours of operation, the members may not be able to use the gym when desired. There is no kid’s club offered for parents who want to work out even though the price is higher than gyms that offer such a club.

Joined College Point club in february 2014.Unexpected move Iin March. Called and informed rep to cancel membership, which was month-to-month. Rep said that I needed to give 30 days notice. I did. this is July, and they continue to take money from my account, despite rep leaving clear notes in computer. Spoke to another rep today. he said that I needed to send a notarized letter/and or come to club personally! I was never told that before. Now I am told that Imust come and see the “manager” who signed me up! I am about to take legal action. PUSH is making it impossible to cancel, and would not refund the months of money they took, after I officially cancelled!
