The Total Gym Elite is a Pilates-style piece of fitness equipment manufactured by FitnessQuest. The FitnessQuest brand sells products such as As Seen on TV products, Tony Little products as well as strength training and clearance items. The official website offers the dieter a comprehensive look the product including product description, key specifications, shipping information and product reviews.

We did not find the Total Gym Elite on the official website, but the product is available on third-party website such as Amazon.com. The Total Gym Elite is considered a low-impact piece of equipment designed to use the weight of the user as the main source of resistance.

List of Ingredients

Pilates-style home gym featuring instructional manual, exercises DVD and nutrition guide.

Product Features

The Total Gym Elite features standard equipment offered with all of the Total Body home gyms, including, dip bars, exercise mat, exercise DVD, nutritional guide and instructional manual. The machine does not use free weights or resistance bands, simply the weight of the user. Resistance levels range from 4% of the user’s body weight to 60%.

The maximum weight of the Total Gym Elite is 275 lbs. What we found concerning is although the Total Gym Elite offers guidance; the exercises could present a challenge to the user who is not physically fit. Moving the Total Gym Elite to the highest incline level presents an issue when the user enters of exits the equipment.

The space saving design of the Total Gym Elite allows users to position the machine in small spaces after use. It measures 10 inches high when folded and spans 51 inches. Unfolded the Total Gym Elite measures 44 inches long, with a height of 94 inches. The majority of the Total Gym Elite ships pre-assembled. The only assembly required is the accessories.

The Total Gym Elite is not available on the official website, only on QVC.com. It retails for $325 and is available with a two year warranty. The price is cheap compared to latter models of the Total Gym.
