What You Should Know
Zero-Stim is a weight loss supplement that, like its name promises, contains zero stimulants. It is formally known as Venom Special Tactic and is produced by ALR Industries. The product is marketed towards weight loss product consumers tired of getting “jitters” and “jiggles” all day from supplements containing stimulants like caffeine and guarana. Zero-Stim is formulated to protect muscle, stop fat from being stored, suppresses the appetite and promotes thyroid health.
The first and most active ingredient listed on Zero-Stims website is Theobroma Cacao Concentrate. There have been numerous studies suggesting this ingredient can help control energy metabolism and inflammation.
List of Ingredients
Vitamin B12 (3333%), Theobroma Cacao (OEA), Polygonum, multiflorum Proprietary Extract, 3-Thia Palmitic Acid, Bergenin, Green Tea EX 45% EGCG, Gallic Acid, Rhodiola Rosea EX 4% Rosavins, Hoodia Gordonii 25:1, Oleanolic Acid, Salvia Miltiorrhiza EX 40% Tanshinones, Clary Sage Extract, bAET ECPE and Piperine.
In Zero-Stim, the concentrate of Theobrama Cacao is known as OEA and has been rumored to decrease hunger by telling your brain that you’re full. Even though this fact is reputable, many studies suggest that it really works. When you consume OEA, your body turns on PPAR receptors and reduces your blood’s chance of becoming inflamed. Therefore, the consumption of this ingredient can help your blood flow smoothly and trigger more weight reducing reactions.
The ingredient Gallic Acid has been proven in mammal studies to reduce the amount of insulin given to our fat cells and increase the amount given to our muscles, thus producing lean body mass. When our muscles are surrounded by a thick layer of fat they get less insulin and the muscles shrink. Gallic Acid increases the body’s sensitivity to insulin, allowing them to replenish when coupled with exercise.
ALR states that the ingredient Clary Sage decreases fat by triggering a fat burning enzyme. This is only a theory considering ALR bases this on the fact that Clary Sage’s chemical structure is similar to a fat burning hormone. ALR’s claim that Beta-AET ECPE supports muscle cell building and thyroid function is backed by “studies”. However, the company does not list any specifics on this study.

Because of Zero-Stim’s lack of CNS stimulants, this product could be very beneficial for those who are sensitive to caffeine and other stimulants typically found in weight loss supplements. However, customer testimonials for this product are hard to find and this technology appears to be very new and lacks reputation. We would suggest using a supplement with a bit more long term study and support.
