Labrada Carb Watchers Bars Review
What You Should Know
One of the oldest diets in the world is the low carbohydrate diet. This diet is considered a fad to some and a proven weight loss solution to others. Labrada Carb Watchers bar is a meal replacement option for dieters watching carbohydrate intake. The bar may be suitable as a meal replacement bar for diabetic dieters as well. The product comes in a variety of flavors. The ingredient list and nutrition label should be examined for each bar as the different flavors could change the formula. One bar contains 260 calories and 30 grams of protein. There is less than one gram of fiber in the bar, which is much lower than competitor low carbohydrate meal replacement bars.
List of Ingredients

First and foremost, Labrada Carb Watchers Bars contain 18 grams of carbohydrates. This is not low carbohydrate by any definition, but there could be a problem with the nutrition label. Sugar alcohols are considered carbohydrates, but they have no impact on blood glucose so they are not counted in the carb total. We did not find sugar alcohols listed on the label, but we also found no carbohydrates on the ingredient list. There is only one gram of sugar per serving.
We would like to see a net carbohydrate count in the product description so low carbohydrate dieters can judge whether the bar is a safe meal replacement shake.
- Contains 30 grams of protein per bar.
- Contains 260 calories, perfect for a meal replacement.
- The bar is nearly sugar-free.
- May contain sugar alcohols.
- No net bar amount listed in the product description.
Labrada Carb Watchers bars come in a variety of flavors. There is bound to be a flavor every dieter will love, but if the dieter is watching carbohydrates for weight loss, this product could be deceiving. The total carbohydrate amount is listed as 18 grams. We assume this includes any sugar alcohols; otherwise, the bar would not be considered low carbohydrate. The Atkins Diet is extremely strict, so dieters must find out the Atkins-approved nutritional information before choosing this meal replacement bar. We found no testimonials in terms of taste.
