Muscle Marinade Review
What You Should Know
Muscle Marinade is a great name, but the supplement label looks more like a dictionary than a description of the ingredients in the formula. There is clearly too much information, some of which means nothing to the average person looking at the label. What the dieter or athlete needs to know about Muscle Marinade is the fact that it is used to support muscles before a workout begins. Interestingly, the product description for the Purus Labs product claims that competitors use complicated product labels to confuse consumers. This product label is pretty confusing.
List of Ingredients
ATP Resynthesis / Intracellular Carnosine-Anserine Boosting/Myocellular Power & Endurance Complex: Creatine Monohydrate, Betaine Anhydrous and Beta Alanine.
Net Protein Accretion Stimulating/Antio Catabolic & Insulinogenic/Controlled Branched Chain-Essential Amino Acid Complex: L-Leucine, L-Lysine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Threonine, L-Valine, L-Histidine, L-Isoleucine and L-Methionine.
Controlled Sympathomimetic Psychoactive Adrenal Stimulant Complex: 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine and 2-amino-4-methythexane.
Electrolyte Balancing/Vasodilatory Supporting/Intramuscular Hyper-Hydration Complex: Sodium, Chloride, Potassium Phosphate and Magnesium Succinate.
Cortisol Reducing/Lipid Peroxidation Inhibiting/Sercolemma Disruption Blunting/Antioxidant-Energy-Health Complex: Ascorbic Acid, D-Alpha Tocopherol, Selenium Citrate, Zinc, Folic Acid, Pyridoxine HCL and Cyanoccobalamin.
The ATP Complex is designed to support energy production on a cellular level. Creatine will hydrate muscles, but it will not promote energy production.
The Controlled Complex contains 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine, otherwise known as caffeine and 2-amino-4-methythexane, otherwise known as geranium extract. Caffeine is a common addition that is generally safe. Geranium extract is associated with heart palpitations in some cases.
The Electrolyte Complex is nothing more than potassium and sodium; just like any sports drink.
The Cortisol Complex contains antioxidants to reduce the effects of free radicals.
Purus Labs has taken common ingredients and thrown them together on a confusing label to fool the consumer. This is exactly what the company swears other competitors are doing. The supplement contains nothing exciting and it will not work any better than a creatine supplement with antioxidants, caffeine and electrolytes.
This product is not designed for dieters. It will cause weight gain and water retention. The inclusion of stimulants does not qualify Muscle Marinade as a fat burner.

Purus Labs Muscle Marinade is a common creatine supplement. The only positive thing is the marketing and labeling, because Purus Labs offers great product labels, but the formulas are not as stellar. This supplement contains ingredients some bodybuilders are not willing to take and the label is extremely confusing.
