Acai Elite is an acai supplement that claims to boost weight loss with the power of acai. There is no official website, but we found several reviews; some with ingredient lists for the product. The most important piece of information we found about Acai Elite was the auto-ship program. Customers can order a free trial of the product, but they must cancel the auto-ship program within 14 days to stop the next payment from being deducted from their bank account. Unfortunately, that 14 days starts the day you order the product and you may not receive the bottle before the time has lapsed. The charge for the bottle after the 14 days is $80. There are multiple reports about the company behind Acai Elite being a scam.

List of Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Acai
  • Green Tea Extract
  • Octopamine HCL

Product Features

This ingredient list may not be complete, but the small number of ingredients we were able to find tells us something about the supplement.

Acai berry is a superfruit with strong antioxidant properties. There are no weight loss benefits to taking acai, but the antioxidant support is much needed for most dieters. Reducing calorie intake and exercising may cause an increase in free radical production. Antioxidants fight the effects of free radicals.

Green tea extract is the strongest ingredient, in terms of weight loss, in the supplement. We have no idea how much green tea extract is in the supplement, so that is the downside to Acai Elite not having an official website with an official ingredient list. If there is not enough green tea extract in the formula, the dieter might as well choose a different supplement.

Octopamine HCL is proven to release fat from fat cells, but this effect does not result in weight loss. Instead, the released fat is absorbed by surrounding cells, essentially moving the fat around not releasing the fat out of the body.

Advantages

  • We found a list of ingredients.
  • A free trial is available for the supplement.
  • May contain enough green tea to promote increased metabolism.

Disadvantages

  • There is no official website for Acai Elite.
  • The ingredient list may not be complete.
  • There may not be enough green tea to promote a boost in metabolism.
  • Acai and octopamine are not proven to boost weight loss.

Conclusion

Acai Elite is one of those supplements that offers a free trial and then charges customers $80 before they can cancel the trial membership. We do not support companies that take money from customers without giving them sufficient time to review the product.
