Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel Review
What You Should Know
Occasionally we come across a supplement proven to boost weight loss for both men and women without negative side effects. DHEA was once considered the answer to obesity, but soon dieters started reporting negative side effects because DHEA is converted to estrogen and testosterone. Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel uses a perfected form of DHEA that does not convert into androgens or estrogens. This offers the dieter the same DHEA benefits without the negative side effects.
There is a clinical study listed on the official website for Twinlab. The study claims dieters taking Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel, eating a diet of 1,800 calories or fewer and exercising three days a week lost six pounds in eight weeks. This study supports Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel, but it is not a spectacular result. At two pounds a week, the average dieter eating right and exercising daily should lose about 16 pounds in 8 weeks. It seems that a low calorie diet and exercise program is more beneficial than Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel, but Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel may allow the dieter to eat more calories and lose weight.
List of Ingredients
While we love to promote proven weight loss supplements, there is one huge problem with Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel. The study listed on the official website is not linked to an external source. We have no idea who completed the study, what type of exercise the participants completed and how many people were included in the study. Another problem is the lack of information on the 7-Keto dose given to study participants. Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel includes 100 mg of 7-Keto but the study could have used two, three or four times that much.
We looked around the Internet for some information on 7-Keto. We found reports of increased hair growth, changes in sexual desire and heart rate changes. Some experts do not believe 7-Keto works differently than DHEA, it just takes longer to cause the same hormone boosting effects.
- May increase weight loss.
- Clinical trials support weight loss claims.
- May not increase hormone levels.
- May increase testosterone.
- May cause facial hair growth.
- May cause sexual identity crisis.
- May cause heart rate changes.
- Does not speed up weight loss.
The clinical study listed on the Twinlab website is far from spectacular. Dieters can lose more weight taking a proven weight loss supplement paired with a diet and exercise program than they can eating 1,800 calories and taking Twinlab 7 Keto Fuel. We suggest taking a different product because of the long list of side effects listed by people having taken 7-Keto for an extended period of time. There is a chance the supplement affects hormones, but it just takes longer than DHEA.
