The Hoodia Chaser website does not discuss the purpose of any of the other ingredients in the product other than hoodia. Garcinia cambogia is a southeast Asian plant also called tamarind. We were unable to locate any research showing its effectiveness in weight loss efforts. Green tea is an anti-oxidant and its caffeine triggers a slight thermogenic response which may speed up metabolism. Hoodia Chaser does not explain the reasoning behind including the digestive enzymes. There is nothing in the Hoodia Chaser formulation that peaks our interest or shows any true potential to assist with long term weight management. Like many other products, it relies on the “hoodia” name recognition without proving that it stands out amongst its competitors.
