Power Slim Tea Review
What You Should Know
All you need to do to lose weight is drink a cup of tea and eat the same foods you’ve always eaten. That statement is completely untrue, but it seems to be the general consensus for most weight loss teas. There are dangerous ingredients in many weight loss tea formulas, so it is important to take a close look at the ingredient lists for any weight loss tea that claims to be an effective means of shedding fat and help you lose those pounds.
We found Power Slim Tea listed on a retailer website. This could mean the ingredient list for the supplement is missing ingredients as the official website or company behind the product may not be associated with the listing.
List of Ingredients
- Green Tea
- Gynostemma Entaphyllum PE
- Cassia Seed
- Fructus Momordicae
- Senna Leaf
- Honeysuckle Flower
We find it quite interesting that the same ingredient list keeps popping up over and over again from different weight loss teas. There are two possible explanations for this anomaly. The first is that all the companies are using the same formula and just putting different labels on the box to attempt to sell more weight loss tea. The second possibility is that the same company is behind all the weight loss teas and they simply repackage the ingredients over and over again with new names to make dieters think they are buying a new product.
Green tea is the base of Power Slim Tea. Green tea has been clinically tested and continues to play an important part in weight loss research. Just recently another study was published supporting the use of green tea as a means of increased weight loss. However, dieters cannot drink enough green tea, in most cases, to increase metabolism so supplements are typically used.
Cassia seed and senna are laxatives with diuretic effects. This means the laxatives pull water from the body to lubricate the bowel and force waste out more quickly. Senna also has stimulant properties, so the bowel is not only lubricated it is contracted. This can cause explosive diarrhea, cramping and pain. Senna should not be used for more than a few days to naturally treat constipation. It should never be used to promote weight loss.
Honeysuckle flower offers no thermogenic or weight loss benefits, but it does contribute to water loss. This ingredient may have a place in the bodybuilding industry during the cutting phase, but not in a weight loss tea.
- Ingredients are listed online.
- Contains laxative and diuretic ingredients.
Power Slim tea is just another laxative tea with the word “Slim” in the name. Dieters should steer clear of this diet tea as it will not promote healthy weight loss.
