Vapor XT Review
What You Should Know
Vapor XT is a fat burner that claims to be the only product containing Halostachine. There is very little information on Halostachine, but we do know it is a Beta 3 Stimulator, according to the product description for Vapor XT. We found tons of articles online regarding the use of this ingredient in Vapor XT, but nothing about the ingredient and whether or not it causes negative side effects.
List of Ingredients
- Halostachys Caspica Extract
- Standardized White Willow Bark
- Elemental Magnesium
Halostachys Caspica Extract is Halostachine. This ingredient is supposed to give the dieter stimulant effects without raising blood pressure. This could mean a side-effect free increase in metabolism, but there are no good reviews of the ingredient because it is only found in Vapor XT. If this ingredient is a stimulant it could carry negative side effects for some dieters and should be avoided due to the general lack of safety information.
The next ingredient is caffeine. There is 200 mg of caffeine in Vapor XT. If the Halostachine does not raise blood pressure the caffeine surely will. Caffeine is also an ingredient the dieter’s body will get used to so eventually that buzz in energy will fade away if Vapor XT is used for a prolonged period. The dieter could form an addiction to the caffeine, which means facing withdrawal symptoms if they stop taking the high dose of caffeine on a daily basis.
White willow bark is a natural form of aspirin. It is commonly used in fat burners as part of an ECA stack. ECA stands for ephedra, caffeine and aspirin with the white willow bark being the aspirin. This product contains two of the three ingredients in an ECA stack. The E or ephedra could be replaced with the Halostachine.
Magnesium, when taken as a standalone ingredient, may have laxative side effects. Typically we see magnesium added to calcium supplements to reduce the risk of constipation associated with taking calcium.
- Ingredients available online.
- The product is inexpensive.
- The product does not contain ingredients proven to produce sufficient weight loss.
- Taking the product as directed could potentially be dangerous due to the amount of caffeine consumed.
We are not thrilled with Vapor XT. The supplement contains one ingredient with no real informative information online. We’d love to see an ingredient that increases energy and fat burn without increasing blood pressure, like EGCG, but Halostachine is not an ingredient with enough information available to the dieter to support using it in place of proven ingredients.
