Yoga Burn – a workout program that comes with both a digital download and a physical set of DVDs. The program is designed for women, though there’s no information as to why men aren’t part of the plan.
Our researchers have seen hundreds of workout programs over the years, but programs like Yoga Burn is not from a major company, so they were curious to see what this yoga-inspired plan was all about.
Yoga Burn can be purchased through their Official Site.
What is Yoga Burn?
Yoga Burn is a yoga-based system that spans 12-weeks. It’s deemed a “body shaping program for women.” The certified personal trainer behind the program is Zoe Bray-Cotton. In addition to being a trainer, she is also a “female transformation specialist to over 1 million women around the world.” We’re not exactly sure the program has reached 1 million women, so we think there are other programs from this personal trainer that are added into this figure. Then again, she has 1.5 million Facebook followers, so that could be where the number started.

Who is Zoe Bray-Cotton?
Other than the small amount of information about Cotton being a personal trainer and transformation specialist, there’s really nothing on the official website. She created Yoga Burn, the Yoga Burn Facebook page and the Yoga Burn Instagram community – but there’s nothing about where she trained, what past experiences she has that make her an authority on fitness for women or anything of the sort.
When we looked closer at the trainer, we found nothing but references and reviews of Yoga Burn associated with her name. Not having some credentials or sharing your expertise is a recipe for disaster when selling a workout program.

Yoga Burn and ClickBank
ClickBank is an affiliate sales portal that allows people with websites to promote products, like Yoga Burn, and make a commission on each sale. This explains why there are so many reviews of the workout program – the websites are using the affiliate program to sell people on Cotton’s program.
Better Business Bureau
Yoga Burn and the Better Business Bureau
Though Yoga Burn is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), they do have an B+ rating. What concerns us is that the headquarters is listed as being in Idaho, but when the BBB contacted the company, they admitted the company was based out of Barbados, and the payment processing center was in Idaho.
There’s also an investigation into the 100% money-back guarantee claim. According to the BBB, and the official Yoga Burn website, the buyer can return the physical product for a refund minus shipping and handling. That means the return policy does not offer 100% of your money back. The BBB contacted Yoga Burn, and the details of the guarantee were added to the official website as a disclaimer on the bottom in the fine print.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, Yoga Burn is packed with upsells for products and programs like Yoga Burn monthly. The monthly system is advertised as costly $0, but the tiny print says you’re responsible for five payments of $47. This is where the complaints are coming from customers because they are being charged for a subscription they didn’t believe they signed up for because the cost was listed as $0.
What is the Yoga Burn Program Like?
There are three Yoga Burn phases – Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3. As you progress through the phases, the workouts grow harder, or more advanced.
- Phase 1: Foundation Flow – works to help the user build a strong foundation on which to grow personal fitness results.
Phase 2: Transitional Flow – works to connect the poses learned in Phase 1 to create a transitional flow, thus the name.
Phase 3: Mastery Flow – a combination of the previous two phases into a “scorching hot sequence” to “fire up your metabolism,” according to the description.
The three phases are broken up into 12 weeks – one DVD a week. Along with the 12 DVDs, you get step-by-step educational tutorials that explain each of the moves you’ll come in contact with when using Yoga Burn.
Yoga Burn Claims
The claims made by the Yoga Burn fitness system are a bit more than we expect the program really offers. According to the introductory video, the program is supposed to help destress your life, improve mental focus, and ease chronic pain. It’s also supposed to improve mood because your body releases “feel good” hormones.
Does Yoga Burn Really Work?
There is no clinical support for Yoga Burn, but yoga is proven to increase strength and flexibility. According to research published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, “yoga could offer diverse behavioral, physical, ad psychosocial effects that may make it a useful tool for weight loss.”
Another study in the journal Deutsches Arzteblatt International claims, “Yoga is safe … and can be recommended as a technique for combating abdominal obesity in women.”
How Much Does Yoga Burn Cost?
You can purchase Yoga Burn for $37. This package comes with one digital download and one physical set of DVDs. If you pay $57, your order is doubled, so you get two digital downloads and two physical sets of DVDs.
Your purchase is backed with a 100% money-back guarantee, but there’s no mention of how the company takes back the digital download upon “return” or if they allow the buyer to keep the digital program and return the physical DVDs.
According to the money-back guarantee, you have 60 days from the original purchase date to contact the customer service department by phone or email to initiate the refund. If you own the physical product, you’ll have to pay return shipping to receive a refund.
Pros and Cons
Pros and Cons of Yoga Burn
There’s not a lot of information on Yoga Burn, but from what we were able to gather, the program comes with both pros and cons.
Yoga Burn Pros:
- The program is affordable at $37.
- There’s a 100% money-back guarantee.
- You may be able to get a refund even if you purchase only the digital product.
Yoga Burn Cons:
- You have to return the DVDs at your expense to get a refund of the purchase price.
- The trainer behind the program doesn’t share any credentials.
- The claim of helping 1 million women transform is a bit difficult to believe.
“Love it! – Ordered Yoga Burn Total Body Challenge for the reduced rate. Electronic videos were emailed immediately after purchase and physical DVDs took around 2 weeks. Love this program and Zoe is very motivational. Re previous reviews commenting on over-charging, as long as you click ‘no’ to all add-ons, you’re only charged the DVD price. I agree that the email deluge you get after registering is excessive. However, in one of these emails I was offered the Yoga Burn Booty Challenge for free (only had to pay P&P), so I was delighted I opened the email! Overall, I would highly recommend.”
“Great program- avalanche of emails after your order is ridiculous. – The videos/program that are offered are absolutely wonderful and highly effective. The avalanche of emails you will receive to your inbox every blessed day is HARASSMENT! Love the program, opted out of future emails as it’s completely ridiculous the sheer volume in 2 short weeks. Helpful information is great in significantly smaller doses spread out even a little.”
“I am enjoying the program but like others, found a recurring charge on my credit card. One person says “as long as you select no to each add on you won’t be charged anything extra”- wrong. I very carefully clicked NO to each additional offer (of which there were MANY- I mean like 10 or more! Ridiculous). Had to go back and forth with people at Clickbank by phone and email. I finally got my refund. Again, I enjoy the program but I hate the product pushing.”
Bottom Line on Yoga Burn
The Yoga Burn workout program may be something you’re looking for if you want to get into yoga, but don’t feel like going to a local yoga studio. We like that the three-phase program gradually gets harder or more advanced, over time, but we’d like to see more than the small amount of information shared on the official website. We’re not given enough information to make a solid decision, especially when there are yoga programs from major fitness companies that can be streamed online for a fraction of the $37 cost.
