NutriMeal is a low glycemic soy based protein meal replacement shake mix. NutriMeal is sold by independent distributors of USANA Health Sciences. Similar in organization to other MLM companies such as Amway, Shaklee or Herbal Life, distributors of USANA products are selling the product through their own home based business ventures. The websites that sell the product are independent websites for individual distributors of the product line.

Websites state that NutriMeal is great tasting and an essential supplement for healthy living as well as weight loss. NutriMeal has been reformulated to have a lower glycemic index and is purported to provide satiety while reducing cravings for carbohydrates. As with other meal replacement drinks, dieters are instructed to substitute one or two meals daily with the shake while eating a sensible low calorie meal.

List of Ingredients

Protein Blend [Soy Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Isolate, Pea Protein Isolate, Rice Protein Concentrate], Fructose, Sunflower Oil, Maltodextrin, Soy Fiber, Oat Fiber, Cane Fiber, Gum Arabic, Oligofructose, Potassium Phosphate, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Magnesium Citrate, Prune Powder (Prune, Calcium Stearate),Calcium Phosphate, Beet Juice (Color), Sodium Caseinate (a milk derivative), Cellulose Gum, Salt, Xanthan Gum, Inulin, Soy Lecithin, Tocopherols (to protect flavor), Silicon Dioxide, Wheat Bran, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Zinc Gluconate, D-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Potassium Iodide, Niacinamide (Niacin), Vitamin A Palmitate, Copper Gluconate, Molybdenum Citrate, Ferrous Fumarate, Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D), Manganese Citrate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Cyanocobalamin (VitaminB12), Folic Acid, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Thiamin Hydrocholoride (Vitamin B1).

Product Features

Advantages

  • Contains 15 grams of soy protein per serving.
  • Each Serving contains 8 grams of dietary fiber.
  • NutriMeal comes in four flavors: French vanilla, Dutch chocolate, wild strawberry and mocha.
  • If you like the product it can be delivered on a regular schedule

Disadvantages

  • In order to purchase the product a customer must sign up with USANA and complete an extensive enrollment form.
  • Purchasers are encouraged to sign up for automatic delivery and if they choose not to sign up the product is more expensive.

Conclusion

NutriMeal is just another meal replacement shake mix that comes in the standard flavors. While this brand is low-glycemic there are many brands on the market that are also low-carb or lower on the glycemic index. It is a bit of a hassle to enroll with the company just to make a purchase. The website never truly explains if the shakes are intended to replace all daily meals or just one or two. When clicking the link to purchase the item you will be re-directed to another website completely to enroll and make a purchase. This site does not give any additional information. It seems that the home based business aspect is more important than how the product actually works.

I tried Nutrimeal for weight loss. My boyfriend used it for weight gain. :D
The way to use Nutrimeal actually depends on what you want to attain (weight loss or weight gain). Program takes 5-10 days.

I am willing to assist anyone who want to try Nutrimeal.

I have nutrimeal only for dinner but I eat my proper meal for breakfast and lunch and give myself 5-6 hours after lunch to have the nutrimeal. Can this help? I do resistance training too. 3-4 times a week. Endurance training mainly. I just want to know the gap between your normal meal and the nutrimeal. So how long one has to wait to have nutrimeal?
    Thanks

Not exactly, but in a sense. because it is a meal replacement. you have to follow the plan strictly. if you take nutrimeal and still eat the way you usually do, you may gain weight since you’re taking extra meals in a sense.

Nutrimeal can be purchased even if you are NOT a USANA member. You only get discounts when you do sign-up with USANA.

If you want to purchase, even if u are not a member, you just need to look for a distributor of USANA. Like me. :)

Through the preferred customer program, anyone can get the discounted price of an associate. The “extensive application” is not true. Only needed is your name, your mailing address, and your payment method. And yes, you must go through an associate to become a preferred customer. But if you don’t know any, contact USANA online and they will assign you one close to you.
