KetoZin Review - 10 Things You Need to Know

KetoZin is an “Advanced BHB Keto Formula,” just a fancy way of saying it contains exogenous ketones. This keto diet craze has hit frenzy status, and daily there’s a new keto weight loss product claiming to be more effective than the others.

When we called on our research team to take a look at the product, we didn’t have high expectations for what they’d find, and we weren’t wrong. It looks like we have another supplement making promises it can’t keep, but exactly how does it do that?

Overview

What is KetoZin?

KetoZin is a BHB (beta-hydroxybutyrate) ketone supplement that claims to be all-natural and safe. The fact that the product website consists of a single page with little information and no proof it works.

We found 10+ websites claiming to sell the herbal product, and all required the visitor to click on a link to reach the actual sales page. That means this product is sold via affiliate marketing. Anyone who’s approved by the affiliate company can publish a website praising the supplement in hopes of the visitor clicking through to make the purchase. Once the purchase is made, the affiliate earns a portion of the earnings.

Who Makes KetoZin?

There is no company mentioned on the KetoZin website. We checked the Privacy and Terms and Conditions pages, but the only information we found was a contact email and phone number and an address in Los Angeles. What’s interesting is the address is for a WeWork space. Space where multiple businesses use the same open space for meetings or run entire businesses.

Ingredients

What are the KetoZin Diet Ingredients?

One thing that interested us about the ingredients is that several of the affiliate or sales websites listed what’s in the KetoZin herbal product, but didn’t list BHB – the main ingredient.

In addition to BHB, other ingredients in the KetoZin diet may include:

  • Calcium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate
  • Magnesium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate
  • Sodium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate

These are the same three ingredients found in nearly every keto supplements available today.

Does KetoZin Work for Weight Loss?

We can’t find a single reason to believe when taking KetoZin, ketosis will suddenly happen. Even if the keto supplement contains BHB, an exogenous ketone, it’s not going to force the body into ketosis to burn away the extra fat you want to lose.

The psyllium and agar-agar may slow GI Transit Time, and that could be enough to extend the time between meals because the stomach physically stays full longer, but you don’t need the product to take advantage of the benefits of fiber.

Why Do People Think KetoZin Works?

When you take BHB, the exogenous ketones are excreted in urine. Ketone strips are often used to measure how far into ketosis a person is, if at all. The strips measure ketone levels in urine. So, you see, as your body works through the KetoZin, exogenous ketones lace your urine and cause a reaction on the ketone test strip.

Was KetoZin on Shark Tank?

No one we’ve spoken with knows where the Shark Tank marketing scheme started, but it hit the keto supplement market hard. KetoZin never appeared on Shark Tank. Fly-by-night supplement companies use the popular show as a way of drumming up visitors and building false trust. There are even some companies who’ve appeared on the show and received an offer who use Shark Tank to sell products after the deal fell apart and the offer retracted, according to the Better Business Bureau.

Shark Tank Fraud?

How to Take KetoZin

Our researchers searched high and low for an image of the back of a bottle. That’s where the instructions or directions are printed. Unfortunately, we were unable to find one, but we did locate instructions that look like they’d fit a supplement like this.

  • Take two capsules daily.
  • Stay hydrated.
  • Take for at least three months.

Possible KetoZin Side Effects

Finding a small weight loss product company that can afford to run a human trial is nearly impossible. So, there’s rarely any information on side effects caused by a particular product, like KetoZin weight loss pills. However, each of the ingredients has undergone clinical study, and that means we are confident of some possible side effects.

When taking the product, you may experience:

  • Gas
  • Diarrhea
  • Constipation

Being as there’s Chitosan, sometimes extracted from shellfish, allergic reactions are another possibility.

What Users Are Saying

“I have followed the instructions that came with the pills, maintained a strict Keto diet, and in nearly 30 days have lost a grand total of 2.4 ounces. I had really hoped Ketozin would work but it hasn’t.”

“It definitely works.”

“I guess I was hoping this one would work. I haven’t noticed any change yet.”

Bottom Line on KetoZin

Yes, KetoZin contains the now-famous BHB. The star ingredient that’s supposed to speed your body into ketosis. But, ketosis is a naturally-occurring event ingrained in humans to ensure survival in times when starchy foods are limited. Eliminate carbohydrates from your diet, and you’ll end up in ketosis with or without KetoZin weight loss pills.

The supplement market is full of imposters just trying to make a buck, but there are a few good companies still out there. Look for a comprehensive weight-loss program that can be customized to your needs and is backed by clinical research.
