MetaboRev Review - Does This Fat Burner Actually Work?
Diet products either work or they don’t. Period. Let’s find out which one MetaboRev is. We took the time to create a comprehensive review, focusing closely on the ingredients, side effects, customer-service quality and scientific studies. We additionally scrutinized various user comments from all over the internet. At last, we compressed all of the data we collected to give you the facts.
What is MetaboRev?
Firstly, Metaborev is a fat burner with a number of stimulants. The ingredients include green tea extract, garcinia cambogia, lotus leaf, L-carnitine, konjac root, geranium oil extract, caffeine, and semnostachya menglaensis. The company claims the product will burn fat, increase energy levels, and suppress one’s appetite.
MetaboRev is made by an unknown company. None of the marketing material we could access disclosed who makes the product, but read on…
Ingredients– “Safety Issues”
Our first concern is the overall safety of the product. One of the ingredients has some potential side effects that are a concern. According to our Research Editor, “Geranium oil is also known as dimethylamylamine which is chemically similar to amphetamines. There is limited research into this ingredient but there are indications that it can cause an increase in heart rate and may even lead to more serious situations.”
An outraged consumer said, “I showed this to my doctor and he told me to toss it in the trash. What a waste of time and money.”
A bitter dieter grumbled, “I took this and my blood pressure went way up. I stopped and then researched more, I guess I got lucky.”
Not everyone was concerned with the potential health risks.
One optimistic reviewer commented, “It didn’t hurt me and it helped me lose weight which was the goal.”
Another claimed “If it was going to kill me it would’ve done so already. It’s good.”
We were unable to locate any third parties with available stock of MetaboRev. This was an obvious concern for many of the reviewers we located.
This concerned consumer speculated, “Maybe it isn’t being made anymore because it is dangerous.”
Which was similar to the man who worried, “I wonder if safety issues are why it was pulled.”
Others thought it was a good sign.
According to one interested person, “If something can’t be kept in stock it is usually because it is so popular.”
While another wondered, “I hope this is available again soon. I guess too many people found out about it and they couldn’t keep up with demand.”
According to our research, questionable ingredients and lack of availability are red flags in the weight-loss industry. Both of these pertain to MetaboRev, so the company may have a few problems.
The Science – “Any Validity?”
At DietSpotlight we expect companies to be forthcoming in the details of their formulation. The makers of MetaboRev have not maintained an official website and offer consumers absolutely no information about their formula or the science behind the choices of individual ingredients. With that said, we know the stimulants will boost heart rate, energy and metabolism.
The Bottom Line – Does MetaboRev Work?
What’s the real deal with MetaboRev? There are some good ingredients included in this supplement. Unfortunately, there are also some that aren’t so good which is why we are skeptical about giving it the green light even if consumers were able to find it.
If you’re ready to lose weight, we suggest selecting a product that has been scientifically formulated and is considered safe. The ingredients that are used in a weight-loss supplement should be proven as effective as well as safe.
Among the best products we’ve seen this year is one called Leptigen. It has a formula that is made with a combination of four key ingredients, which have been shown in clinical research to help amplify fat loss and boost metabolism. We didn’t locate any negative user reviews online. We did find many dieters sharing their positive results.
The makers of Leptigen are so excited about their product they’re offering a Special Trial Offer. Fantastic!

What You Should Know
MetaboRev combines safe and effective weight loss ingredients with ingredients that could cause negative side effects in some dieters. Dangerous ingredients turn a healthy, effective supplement into a product dieters should avoid. In this case, the dangerous ingredients could cause liver damage or death – not something dieters should be willing to risk to lose weight.
List of Ingredients
- Green Tea Extract
- Garcinia Cambogia
- Lotus Leaf
- Konjac Root
- Geranium Oil Extract
- Semnostachya Menglaensis
Green tea extract is one of two safe and effective ingredients in MetaboRev. The antioxidant contains caffeine and EGCG – two elements proven to increase metabolism and decrease appetite. Caffeine is also added to the formula for an added metabolism boost. Unfortunately amounts for neither ingredient are listed in the product description, so the dieter is left wondering if there is enough green tea or too much caffeine.
Konjac root is another safe ingredient. Also referred to as glucomannan, konjac root is a water-soluble fiber that helps the dieter feel fuller after eating. When taken 30 minutes before a reduced calorie, nutritious meal, dieters may eat less than they would if they did not take konjac root. This theory relies on the dieter recognizing what it feels like to be full; something many dieters have difficulty with.
The potentially dangerous ingredients in MetaboRev include garcinia cambogia and geranium oil. Garcinia cambogia may be safe, but there is some question about whether or not the ingredient caused liver damage in some dieters. Until the issue is cleared up dieters should choose supplements that do not contain garcinia cambogia. Geranium oil, also referred to as 1,3 dimethylamylamine, is associated with increased heart rate, hypertension and death. This is NOT a safe ingredient for any dieter.
Semnostachya Menglaensis is an unknown ingredient that may increase metabolism and decrease appetite. We found the ingredient listed in multiple supplements, but no clear indication of what the ingredient is or where the ingredient comes from.
- Contains green tea, caffeine and konjac root.
- MetaboRev contains potentially dangerous ingredients.
- One ingredient has no known source or proven attributes.
MetaboRev is one of those supplements that packs together multiple stimulants and markets the product as a safe, natural fat burner. Ephedra was natural too, but otherwise healthy athletes died taking ephedra-based supplements. We would warn dieters to consider all of the ingredients in any supplement before taking a stimulant that may cause more negative side effects than positive benefits.
