Three steps to weight loss seems impressive, but our research team wanted to learn more. So, we focused on the benefits of YP10, potential side effects and warnings, and research verifying the claims. Then, we gathered the facts to give you the bottom line.

SlimMe1 can be purchased through their Official Site.

Claims

SlimMe1 Claims

SlimMe1 claims to:

  • Promote weight loss
  • Suppress appetite

SlimMe1 works through a four-step process. The four steps include:

Loading

During the loading phase of the YP10 Diet, you’ll eat high-fat foods. Supposedly, SlimMe1 claims by eating high-fat foods, you’ll trigger fat burning. Also, the claim is your brain will notice the influx of high-fat foods and move the body into fat-burning mode.

However, there’s no research supporting this claim. According to the journal Nutrients, “resistance training prevents muscle loss induced by caloric restriction.” There’s no mention about exercise with the YP10 Diet.

Fat Burn

According to SlimMe1, during the fat burn stage, this is where the weight loss occurs. You’ll move away from eating high-fat foods, and transition to eating whole foods, including:

  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Lean protein

Preparing for Maintenance

During the maintenance phase of the YP10 Diet, you’ll add the YP10 drops. Your eating plan follows the fat burn meals from step 2. You’ll eat this way for three days. Supposedly, you’ll reach your weight loss goal by the end of the this round of the YP10 Diet.

Maintenance

This is the final step of the YP10 Diet. The claim is you’ll stabilize your new weight. For the first three weeks of the maintenance step of the YP10 Diet, you’ll start to introduce new foods and increase portions. The final three weeks, you’ll introduce additional foods.

Ingredients

SlimMe1 Ingredients

When you follow the four-step YP10 Diet, you’ll add YP10 drops in the third step. According to the official website, the SlimMe1 ingredients include:

  • Vegetable glycerin
  • Purified water
  • Liquid trace minerals
  • Botanicals

The website continues to state the liquid trace minerals are:

  • Hoodia gordonii
  • Guarana
  • Gymnema sylvestre
  • Kelp
  • Bladderwrack
  • Fennel
  • Gravel root
  • Black walnut hull
  • Uva ursi
  • Senna

SlimMe1 doesn’t provide any research supporting the effectiveness of YP10 drops or the ingredients. The official website only offers anecdotal evidence the ingredients work.

What’s more, there’s no label available on the official website. So, there’s no telling how much of any of the SlimMe1 ingredients are in YP10 drops. What SlimMe1 states is the trace minerals are available through vibrational technology.

Vibrational Medicine Technology

What is Vibrational Medicine Technology?

According to the SlimMe1 website, vibrational technology is based on the belief that all life vibrates at different frequencies on a subatomic level and good health equates to higher frequencies.

Poor health is associated with lower frequencies. SlimMe1’s YP10 drops use signatures from plant extracts and not diluted solutions of any of its ingredients.

This integrates the use of chi-energies from living organisms. Plants have medicinal or nutritional properties. The foods people consume have nutritional values and vibrational energy. Acupuncture, homeopathy, crystals, and electromedicine are examples of vibrational medicine.

Dr. Richard Gerber, author of A Practical Guide to Vibrational Medicine, states “vibrational medicine is one of the “living-remedies” based on the healing principle of using the living energy within food, sunlight, plants, or crystals.”

Side Effects

Potential SlimMe1 Side Effects

There are no mentions of side effects from the YP10 Diet. However, according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, very low-calorie diet side effects include:

  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Constipation
  • Fatigue

What Users Are Saying

“I not only lost weight, but learned how to eat again. My version of healthy eating was incorrect and I was a big meal skipper. It took this experience to get me back on track and I am now on a path to health!”

“I can not keep track of the time periods of when I am to do the drops and not. Sorry too many directions.”

Bottom Line

The Bottom Line on SlimMe1

SlimMe1 is a weight loss program focused on lifestyle changes to improve health and wellness. There’s the YP10 Diet which allows users to eat whole foods, but also instructs users to load with high fat foods. The YP10 drops are a proprietary formula, but none of the ingredients are supported by research for weight loss. The cost is another concern. The Basic plan costs $157, while the Ultimate plan costs $257. This seems costly for a program not backed by research showing it works.

While some may notice results from the YP10 Diet, there are alternatives when you add exercise and a healthy diet to your weight management routine.

Among the best products we’ve encountered this year is Noom. The system was created after years of research into what works and what doesn’t. The creators then partnered clinical research with user experience and created a platform that’s like none other on the market.

When the company saw people were seeing changes and results in as little as two weeks, they immediately decided to offer a 14-day trial of Noom so you can see changes too.

I can only speak for myself but Slimme1 delivers exactly what it promises. I was never hungry on this plan and I lost 25lbs in 4 weeks!! I felt great the whole time, even better than before. I slept better as well. Just follow this program exactly as outlined and you will love it!!

My friend is presently on this diet. She was already quite thin, so I was concerned, but supportive. She has experienced an almost constant sore throat, leg cramping while sleeping, and numbness in her hands that is also almost constant. I suggested she was becoming depleted in magnesium, potassium and Vitamin C due to all the liquid consumption and resulting urination. She contacted the company and got no response. Still, she is staying on the diet and I remain concerned. Yes, she HAS lost more than half the twenty pounds she felt she needed to lose, so that part does indeed work.

I can only speak for myself, but this diet plan worked for me. My first attempt at this was back in the fall of 2013 and I lost 24 pounds. I regained all of the weight plus more within a year, but that was at the fault of no one but myself. The hardest part for me was loading. Consuming that much food is quite a shock and ended up being a really miserable experience.

I started a new round back in late November 2016 and lost 20 pounds over the holiday season. Since completing the program, I have lost an additional 10 pounds with around 80 more to go. I have experienced the most growth through the maintenance faze of this program. I will be starting a new round in February hoping to lose another 20-25.

I purchased the SlimMe1 Detox Tea last summer and loved it. I felt great, I slept so much better at night but just recently I re-ordered and noticed the ingredients have changed. I haven’t had a full nights sleep since I started the Detox. I don’t really feel any different. I’m very disappointed.

My youngest is now 3 and I have kept it iff and feel amazing. Not only did I lose the weight but I learned alot about food and nutrition with this program and that has helped me so much long term.

My husband did it. Yes I thought it was VERY expensive since we basically got drops and the tea that makes you poo. ? Everything else you make and pay for yourself. However. (He didn’t use the tea at all I did because I needed that ?) He lost 25 lbs in three weeks. We followed the eating program to the Tee it wasn’t delicious but not bad and he was ok with it. As far as I’m concerned if you can lose 20 some lbs in 3 weeks it’s a good plan. Also, for anyone that says it’s not healthy etc etc. my hubby was sleeping better had more energy during the day lost the weight, just was better. So we are going to do it again. This time try and stick to the follow up program.

We did the SlimMe 1 over four years ago without supplements. In 6 weeks we lost 30 pounds and have kept it off to this day. If either of us starts to or on any weight we go right back to it. To maintain we eat like this during the work week and eat how we want on weekends. However, we are both very active!

I’m on my second round of yp10. The first round I lost 28lbs and 4 dress sizes, I’m now in my second round it’s only been 9 days in fat burn and I’ve lost 18.6 lbs. This program does work as long as you follow it to the tee. One thing to keep in mind is if you only have 20lbs to lose it will be harder to lose than someone who has100 lbs to lose so dont get discouraged. As far as I’m concerned it’s worth every penny.
