The Cleaner Women’s Formula is a laxative/colon cleanser for women. We have never heard of cleansing ingredients that work better for women than men, but The Cleaner is a trusted name in natural colon cleansing. This supplement should NEVER be used for weight loss or for long-term self treatment of constipation. We suggest seeking medical attention for prolonged constipation as it could be a symptom of a larger underlying problem.

Product Features

The Cleaner Women’s Formula, like all other The Cleaner formulas, is packed with tons of natural laxatives, diuretics and detoxification ingredients. According to the product description, the formula is supposed to detox the colon, liver, skin, stomach and kidneys – but the company behind the formula is not exactly proactive in supplying research support for these claims. We can prove the formula will cause increased urination and bowel output, but there is little support for claims or removing parasites or helping the dieter lose up to 25 pounds – a common claim made by promoters of colon cleansing supplements.

The first four ingredients in The Cleaner Women’s Formula are laxatives (mostly bulk-forming fibers). These fiber laxatives will collect water, form a ball in the intestines and help move waste out of the body. Bulk-forming laxatives like psyllium husk require lots of water to work effectively. Too little water and the dieter is left constipated because the bulk formed does not have the lubrication to move out of the body. We also found senna (a natural stimulant laxative) and aloe vera (a lubricant) on the ingredient list so The Cleaner Women’s Formula is serious about moving waste.

Also among the ingredients are a few diuretics, including dandelion root. Diuretics work to push water out of the body. Prescription diuretics can also be used as a treatment for high blood pressure in some patients.
