Overview

What is Keto Fit?

Keto Fit is a vegan-friendly keto weight-loss shake. This Dr. formulated meal replacement shake contains thermogenic ingredients to help you exercise and burn fat more effectively.
The powdered keto-friendly shake is part of Garden of Life’s new doctor-formulated Keto line. Each product was created with the help of Dr. David Perlmutter, M.D.
The Keto product line includes Dr. Formulated Keto Organic Grass-Fed Butter Powder, Dr. Formulated Keto Meal Balanced Shake, and Dr. Formulated Keto Organic MCT Powder.

  • Journal of ObesityRevealed that a weight-loss shake program could cause a significant and sustainable reduction in body mass. Could a keto-based replacement shake be even more effective?
  • Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine – Confirmed that Ashwagandha could reduce stress and lower cortisol levels. Lower cortisol could result in weight loss or at least reduction of weight mass around the midsection.
  • Foods – Warns that organic grass-fed butter found in Keto Fit shakes still contains high amounts of cholesterol and shouldn’t be treated as a health food.

Ingredients

Keto Fit Ingredients

This ketogenic weight-loss shake contains the following ingredients:

  • Svetol
  • Ashwagandha
  • Coffeeberry
  • Lactobacillus Plantarum
  • Organic Grass-Fed Butter

Svetol

Svetol is the trademarked name for decaffeinated green coffee beans. Svetol contains chlorogenic acids. One study published in Phytotherapy Research found that the chlorogenic acids found in Svetol caused the release of fatty acids in the body. This effect lasted significantly longer than when the lipolytic activity of caffeine alone was studied.

It appears that the combination of caffeine and chlorogenic acid in Svetol may increase weight-loss potential.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is an herb commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine. Practitioners of Indian alternative medicine have used Ashwagandha to reduce stress and improve concentration for more than 3,000 years.

According to Obesity (Silver Spring), cortisol, also known as the stress hormone, plays a role in weight gain. This is especially true for women.

Coffeeberry

The coffeeberry, also known as the Frangula Californica, is a flowering shrub found on the West Coast of North America. It was used in traditional Native American medicine as a laxative and to treat poison oak.

A 2013 study, published in the British Journal of Nutrition, found that coffeeberry can increase a brain-derived neurotrophic factor. Brain-derived neurotrophic factor plays a role in memory and cognition. Researchers believe that coffeeberry may benefit the brain and central nervous system, but more in-depth studies are needed.

Lactobacillus Plantarum

Lactobacillus Plantarum is a lactic acid bacterium found in human saliva, the gastrointestinal tract, and various food products.

A study published in Biomedical Research International suggests that Lactobacillus Plantarum may support digestion and increase the shelf life and safety of fermented foods.

Organic Grass-Fed Butter

Organic Grass-Fed Butter is simply butter made from the milk of grass-fed dairy cows. Nutrition Today, researchers found several benefits of grass-fed butter. Butter from grass-fed dairy cows is higher in CLA and omega-3 acids. It also melts easier than butter sourced from grain-fed cows.

Does Keto Fit Work?

This product does contain thermogenic ingredients, but it only works if you’re able to follow a ketogenic dietIndian Journal of Medical Research warns that the keto diet is difficult to follow, causing serious health complications in certain individuals.

You might be able to lose weight with a keto diet shake, but will you be able to maintain a ketogenic lifestyle? As with any diet, results will vary depending on the dieter.

Keto Fit and Weight Loss

Research published in Obesity Reviews found that meal replacement shakes are more effective for weight loss than food-based diet plans.

A meal replacement shake could promote weight loss, and Keto Fit uses some ingredients backed by science, but you’ll still need to work out regularly and follow a ketogenic diet if you want to lose weight with this product.

What Users Are Saying

What Users Are Saying

“Was great in taste! I loved the way it suppressed my appetite and gave me energy to power through my day! I lost three pounds in one week. I already placed my second order.”

“Expensive per serving! I should have looked closer – I really should have looked closer, but after it came I realized my error and in fact felt deceived. It is on me to do my extra research. Just watch out. This container only has 10 servings which is 1/2 a normal jug and then the price is higher that a 20 service jug! Frustrating. Felt like they just did that to make a ton more money. Will not be buying this product again. Tasted good in a full shake (did not consume just the shake itself) but did enjoy it.”

“I like the taste – even though it states 2 scoops daily I use 1 scoop. It is sweet. I put 1/2 of the nutritional yeast, MCT oil and blueberries and it is quite good to drink.”

Bottom Line

Bottom Line on Keto Fit

If you’re following a ketogenic diet, Keto Fit might work for you. It contains quality ingredients that are supported by science, and an actual medical doctor formulated it. Our problem isn’t with Keto Fit’s diet shakes; it’s with the keto diet in general.

Any super restrictive diet can cause nutrient deficiencies, and the keto diet doesn’t seem to be sustainable in the long term.

Our researchers believe the best way to lose weight is with a proper diet, regular exercise, and a quality weight-loss program to keep you on track.

Noom is the perfect example of a great program that works. Noom provides users access to expert articles, food logging, and exercise tracking, but it’s the personalized care that truly sets this app apart.

The company behind Noom is so sure that their product works that they are willing to share a free trial offer to see how amazing it is for yourself.

Be careful if you are ordering the free 30 day trial. I was charged for a 3 month supply. I thought I was paying for the shipping charges for the month free supply. When I looked at the confirmation e-mail I see a charge for $198.70. I called immediately and they WOULD NOT cancel my order.
