Hi Amswt. It’s placed over the mid-section for up to 10 hours, its not recommended to be used more than that. If it burns or feels uncomfortable than it should be taken of immediately. The side effects may be skin irritation, rashes and a burning sensation. It is supposed be removed by yourself. Good luck, and hope my response helped.

I have started using the mymi patch and i found that if you only wear it for 6 hours it doesn’t burn the skin as much, i also made the patch wet before removing and it comes off easily and i then put E45 cream on my belly after removal which had a nice cooling effect.
I also tried to wet the patch before removing, but it didn’t come easily, it was just as painful, no improvement!
My first time using it was last night, didn’t feel anything at all no discomfort or burn, but hoping it will work. To remove it I poured some baby oil until the patch absorbed it and I easily peeled it off without pulling my skin.

According to the product directions, you should not be re-using the same patch at all.

28 patches in a 4 week course is implying 7 per week (1 per day).
I would therefore say you shouldn’t be reusing the same patch.
Also if you use the baby oil trick to remove, I doubt it will stick back on next alternative day.
It seems 6 hours use and every 2nd day only, is what will avoid a lot of the sensitive skin issues. Plus do take off in shower and with baby oil. Massage a little Salvon on the area after washing to reduce rash risk.

1. Look up the ingredients and what the intent is. Capsaicin is actually what is used in “tear gas” IT BURNS!
2. If there wasn’t adhesive it wouldn’t stick…..Use coconut oil, fractioned organic is the best an it is good for the skin without being greasy. Lavender essential oil from Young Living will also work well because there are no chemicals. Baby oil is iffy because there are questionable chemicals that are not identified.
